Purdue ME faculty and staff celebrate milestone anniversaries

Purdue ME faculty and staff were recently recognized for milestone anniversaries, celebrating 10, 15, 20, or more years of service to Purdue.

Euiwon Bae: 10 years

Euiwon is a Senior Research Scientist and Continuing Lecturer, focusing on applied optics.


David Cappelleri: 10 years

David is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on multi-scale robotics.


Amy Marconnet: 10 years

Amy, an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, studies heat transfer, energy conversion, and materials science.


Pavlos Vlachos: 10 years

Pavlos studies fluid mechanics, especially in biomedicine. He is the St. Vincent Health Professor of Healthcare Engineering, and the Director of the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering.


Richard Buckius: 15 years

Formerly assistant director of the National Science Foundation Directorate for Engineering, Richard is now a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue.


Jun Chen: 15 years

Jun studies fluid mechanics as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and also serves as Assistant Head for Facilities and Operations.


Michelle Kidd: 20 years

Michelle is the Operations Administrator for the Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories.


Adam Krichbaum: 20 years

Adam is a machinist at Research Machining Services (RMS).


Morgan Murphy: 20 years

Morgan is a Senior Lecturer for the School of Mechanical Engineering.


Janeen Redman: 25 years

As a Program Coordinator and Schedule Deputy, Janeen helps students enroll in classes and apply for scholarships.


Carl Wassgren: 25 years

Carl is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on modeling particles and powders.


Peter Meckl: 35 years

Peter is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering, studying motion and vibration control.


Gordon Pennock: 40 years

Gordon is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, specializing in kinematics.
