Chair Bio
Melissa Armstrong is the Director of the award-winning Interdisciplinary Global Programs at Northern Arizona University. Melissa’s career has been dedicated to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within global learning experiences and within the ecology profession through systemic challenges and changes that enable diversity to thrive within modern-day structures. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Ecology, a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a second bachelor’s in Spanish.
