Presenters Bios

Katherine Yngve, a “recovering” Senior International Officer (American University of Beirut), now works within the Institutional Research realm at Purdue University, as an Intercultural Outcomes Specialist for Institutional Data Analysis + Assessment (“IDA+A”). Katherine specializes in meta-analysis and scaling up evidence-based intercultural and diversity learning in on-campus, virtual and overseas learning contexts; supporting faculty and staff in the use of over 20 validated instruments, many of them free. She is a qualified administrator or facilitator of the following: the Beliefs, Events and Values Inventory (BEVI), the Cultural Intelligence Scale, the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory, the Intercultural Development Inventory, the Intercultural Edge, the Intercultural Effectiveness Scale, and the Global Competence Certificate. She is the founder of the Purdue Community of Practice for Socially Just Assessment and has been certified in applying an anti-racist mindset to higher education.
