Presenter Bios

James Davis is an assistant professor in the Elmore Family school of ECE at Purdue University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in software engineering. His research interests are in safe and secure software engineering for cyber- and cyber-physical systems. He grounds his work in empirical measurements of the software engineering process, the engineered product, and (informing his poster at ACIEE) its usage context.

 

Nicole Hornbrook is a junior in Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University and a part-time software engineer at VSP Global. Nicole spent the first 18 years of her life in Mexico, City Mexico so she is fluent in Spanish and has a deep appreciation for different cultures. Next semester, Nicole will be studying abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.
