Step up: New solution for lofted beds

File this under "why hasn't anyone ever thought of that?" An in-built step for lofted dorm room beds, to help people get up to the top bunk where there is no ladder. Now in the process of being patented, it was created in ME263 Sophomore Design class by Elvin Garayev, Andrew Bowman, Dalton Garrett and William Yount.

Nanoscale light manipulation

Researchers are manipulating light on a nanoscale to detect molecular fingerprints. Professor Chi Hwan Lee created this sticker, which allows these 3D plasmonic nanoarrays to be used anywhere.
