Greg Shaver

Greg Shaver is a professor of Mechanical Engineering, focused on maximizing efficiency of commercial vehicle powertrains, and demonstrating connected and autonomous vehicles.  He is leading the effort to make class-8 tractor-trailers capable of platooning with each other autonomously, saving fuel and making the roads safer.

The SAE Fellow Membership designation is awarded to an elite group of professionals who have made a significant impact on the mobility industry through leadership, research, publishing, innovation, and volunteering.

Kejie Zhao

Kejie Zhao is an associate professor of Mechanical Engineering. His research theme is focused on mechanics and material chemistry using experimentation and multi-scale modeling approach, with specific focus on elements of electrochemistry; Li-ion batteries; and organic electrochromics.
