Presenters Bio
Bob Karcher was the Assistant Dean for Engineering Student Services and Coordinator for Engineering Global Programs at Auburn University. He now works exclusively with Engineering Global Programs. Dr. Karcher’s research background includes engineering student retention with a focus on student preparation and first year experience in an engineering program of study. His work in global programs include assisting with the development of student exchange, faculty-led, and international service learning programs. He has served as advisor to the student chapter of Engineers without Borders and led student teams in Bolivia and Rwanda.
