Professor Thomas Siegmund elected VP of Society of Engineering Science

Thomas Siegmund, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, has recently been elected to become the 2016 Vice President of the Society of Engineering Science. Founded in 1963 at Purdue University, the mission of the Society of Engineering Science is to promote the free exchange of information on all aspects of engineering science and to provide a forum for discussion, education, and recognition of the engineering science community. The annual technical meetings of SES bring together leading engineers, scientists and mathematicians to advance the most challenging problems at the interface of these disciplines.
