Students receive graduate teaching awards

Two Purdue ME students have received the Teaching Academy Graduate Teaching Award from Purdue's Center for Instructional Excellence.

The award honors graduate students with teaching responsibilities from across campus for their dedication to Purdue students and their outstanding teaching contributions. Recipients are selected by each academic department for their commitment to undergraduate education.

Joshua Pribe

Joshua studies fracture mechanics and additive manufacturing with Thomas Siegmund. He was recognized in 2020 by the College of Engineering with the Magoon Award for Outstanding Teaching Assistants and Instructors.

Murtuza Shergadwala

Murtuza is a PhD student under Jitesh Panchal, focused on collective systems innovation and socio-technical systems.  He is also a Magoon Award recipient from 2019, and also received the Ward A. Lambert Teaching Fellowship intended for exceptional doctoral students.
