Published jointly by the IEEE and ASME, the Transactions on Mechatronics encompasses all practical aspects of the theory and methods of mechatronics, the synergetic integration of mechanical engineering with electronic and intelligent computer control in the design and manufacture of industrial products and processes. The journal covers technical areas including actuators and sensors, automotive systems, intelligent control, manufacturing, micro devices and opto-electronic systems, modeling and design, motion control, robotics, system integration, vibration and noise control and other applications that involve novel and synergistic integration of information processing, electronics and mechanical devices with engineered and/or non-engineered systems.
