One out of every five Purdue Mechanical Engineering students and faculty is female. Women are valued, appreciated, welcomed, and supported here in ME, and they accomplish amazing things. In addition to the Women in Mechanical Engineering (WiME) student group, Purdue organizes an annual Women in ME Symposium to allow students, faculty, and alumni to share their stories and strategies for success.

"Our Women in ME student organization here at Purdue has just skyrocketed since last year, and the School of Mechanical Engineering has also been very supportive in providing an environment for everyone to thrive!"
