College of Engineering 150th Kickoff and Engineering Alumni Association Awards

The College of Engineering kicks off the yearlong sesquicentennial celebration, “150 Years of Purdue Engineering” at the Annual Engineering Dinner and Alumni Association Awards bringing our Boilermaker community back together to recognize three outstanding alumni who stay connected, stay involved and give back through feedback, volunteerism and advocacy. We recognize these individuals in three categories: the Young Alumni Award, the Loyalty Award, and the Innovation Award. This event is invitation-only. Registration is required. (All College of Engineering alumni, friends, faculty, staff and students welcome to participate in the public kickoff of the sesquicentennial at the College of Engineering tailgate on Sept. 14.)

All College of Engineering alumni, friends, faculty and staff are welcome to join us for the College of Engineering tailgate, the public kickoff of the yearlong sesquicentennial celebration, “150 Years of Purdue Engineering.” Join us for game-day snacks and fun as we gear up to face off against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish! Registration is required. Boiler Up!

Join Purdue Engineering alumni for Homecoming festivities and celebrations of Purdue traditions. Homecoming weekend will feature reunions and activities for alumni and fans of all ages, leading up to the Sept. 28 football game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

AI in Manufacturing Across Smart Corridor of America: Next Generation of Smartness for Supply Chain (invitation only)

This panel will highlight advances and initiatives launched across I-65/I-75, a manufacturing and supply chain corridor of America. Significant advances are being made across states such as Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, and Tennessee. This panel will intentionally attempt to be inclusive in building the manufacturing and supply chain bridges across these states and hear highlights of their initiatives.

Max W & Maileen Brown Family Hall Ribbon Cutting

The Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is proud to officially unveil the newly renovated Max W & Maileen Brown Family Hall (BHEE). A ribbon cutting is set for Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 10 – 11:30 am in the courtyard between BHEE and MSEE. The event will feature remarks by officials from Purdue University, Purdue ECE, and the Purdue for Life Foundation, along with other important stakeholders of this project. Remarks will be followed by light appetizers and tours of the new space.

Jamieson Leadership Award, Management & Professional Customer Service Excellence Award, Management & Professional New Employee Award, Outstanding Academic Advisor Excellence Award, Outstanding Business Office Staff Excellence Award, Outstanding Research Staff Excellence Award, Professional Achievement Excellence Award, Support & Service Customer Service Excellence Award, Support & Service New Employee Award, and Staff Team Excellence Award. Open to College of Engineering staff and faculty and their guests.
