The Purdue University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics is among the top aerospace engineering programs in the nation and is 6th in the last US News and World Report rankings of aerospace graduate programs.

During Fall 2018, we had a total of 528 students with 213 in the PhD program and 144 in our distance learning programs. During the 2017-2018 academic year, the School graduated 130 MS and 27 PhD students. The School began offering non-thesis MS AAE degrees in the fall of 2006 to off-campus students via Purdue Engineering Online. See AAE's Distance Graduate Education Program for more information.
