Vijay Gupta, Elmore Professor in the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been elected as a Fellow of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), one of the most prestigious recognitions in the field of control systems.

ENE's Kirsten Davis and her husband, ECE's James Davis, have been awarded $350K in NSF funds to lead an innovative study on how software engineers can be better prepared for the age of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).

John Deere Day at Purdue

The purpose of John Deere Day is to connect students with cutting-edge technology, provide career insights, and to bring to campus the incredible people behind our innovations. Each location will have equipment, displays, virtual reality simulators, giveaways, and Deere employees ready to answer questions and talk about their experiences. During John Deere Day, we will also be hosting information sessions about topics such as landing internships and finding the career path that fits you. A panel of interns and members of the development program will also be talking about their experiences. Lastly, we will have FREE food at various points in the day for students to grab in between classes.
