Description:

The motivating problem is interception of a ground target with a robust, cyber-secure, unmanned aerial system (UAS). This ground target could be a fast moving vehicle or injured person that is broadcasting an intermittent position. Relevant topics such as Kalman filtering, embedded autopilot systems, the Robot Operating System (ROS), motion planning, and simulation using Gazebo will be employed. Cyber-security topics will focus on runtime assurance, model checking, and correct by construction software development.
