Matthew Gully is a driven and hardworking junior studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Product Lifecycle Management. He has been an all-star member of the Minority Engineering Program work study staff since 2013, working during the school year, as well as taking on the role of Project Assistant for various summer programs. Due to his continued hard work, dedication to the program, and sheer passion for motivating underrepresented minorities to attend college, he has recently been promoted to Student Recruitment Lead. He is very involved with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE); moreover, he was the Vice President of NSBE’s Freshman Council, and is currently the Academic Excellence Chair for the organization. Before attending Purdue, Matthew was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Outside of school, Matthew loves to run and exercise to keep his physical health on par with his mental health.
