Industry Projects & Sponsorships

The Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) Program provides opportunities for undergraduate students to earn academic credit while tackling complex and extended projects. Teams are multi-disciplinary and vertically integrated (first-year through seniors), and students can participate for multiple semesters. There are new opportunities for companies to engage with students beginning their first semester and throughout their curriculum at Purdue University in Indianapolis starting in August 2024 and beyond. Sponsorship can be made through the mentorship of projects, annual monetary gifts, or both.

 

Project Team Sponsorship Opportunities

Can be involved as much or as little as you are able:

  • Propose a real-world project from industry and provide project context
  • Serve as a project reviewer (~monthly)
  • Provide mentorship on a projects (~weekly)
  • Ability to support projects requires NDA & assignment of IP

All VIP Industry teams will also be co-instructed by a Purdue lecturer or faculty member.

 

Project & Program Sponsorship Opportunities

Don't have a specific project, but want to support VIP? You can sponsor a VIP team or the program through annual monetary gifts:

  • Team $5,000
  • Program $10,000
