1992 Electrical & Computer Engineering Awards

What distinguishes a Purdue Outstanding Electrical Engineer? They are active. They create. They innovate. They conquer. They lead. They seek challenges. They meet them. Upon retirement they re-enter the fray as volunteers and consultants and entrepreneurs. They serve their profession and their communities. Their expertise and influence spread around the globe- and out into the universe.

Obviously, it was impossible to do more than note the high points and historical breakthroughs of these outstanding engineers. We may have misjudged which accomplishments they most value and for this we apologize. We are proud of these engineers and pleased to be able to name them as the first to receive the Outstanding Electrical Engineer award from the Purdue University School of Electrical Engineering.
