Donald D. Neddenriep received his BSEE with distinction from Purdue University in 1955. He worked for Sperry Corporation, a Fortune 500 computer corporation, for twenty eight years. During that time he held many positions including vice president of worldwide customer and marketing support, vice president and general manager of the Communication and General Products Division; and group vice president of the Product Division. During his tenure with Sperry Corporation, Neddenriep was responsible for the completion and initial manufacturing of a large scale system with a total revenue over $2 billion.

In 1983, Neddenriep left Sperry to become the director of the Microelectronics and Computer Corporation in Austin, Texas. He remained in this position through 1986 when he retired.

Neddenriep served five years as a trustee for the Moore School of Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1979 he was named a Purdue Distinguished Engineering Alumnus.
