Description:
Purdue Baja Racing is a team of students from across campus that designs and builds a new off-road vehicle each year. The vehicle is a singles-seat buggy with off road tires and long travel suspension. The entire process, from design to manufacturing to testing is run by students. The competition remains largely the same each year, with minor rule changes and design updates.
Relevant technologies - CAD, CAM, CNC Machining
Prerequisites:
Knowledge in CAD is helpful, along with knowledge of the design process and basic mechanics. Keeping an open mind and learning new things is always a must!
Eligibility requirements: Approval from Baja SAE leadership team and/or prior involvement with SAE related organization.
