Description:

Purdue students will work with autonomous mowing stakeholders (Wright Manufacturing Inc., Greenzie and McGavic Outdoor Power) to develop autonomous mowing testing protocols, performance measures, and training material. This provides a unique hands-on active learning opportunity for students to both understand the technology as well as shaping workforce training material for the next generation of lawn care specialists that need to develop skills for deploying safe autonomous operation.

Students will be expected to participate in supervising weekly autonomous mowing activities that they will collect data from.  Mowing activities will be in the Discovery Park district adjacent to the Purdue Airport.
