The pantry provides free food and household items to Purdue students, staff and faculty, and since COVID-19, usage of this facility has nearly doubled. Pantry visits from College of Engineering clients are higher than many of the other academic units on campus. The chart below illustrates the significant increase in traffic at the facility:
- 2017-18: 415 visits
- 2018-19: 1,300 visits
- 2019-20: 2,500 visits
- 2020-21: On pace to surpass last year’s total visits.
