Investing in Infinite Possibilities

The Purdue–Silicon Valley Symposia in California is a series of monthly talks introducing investors in Silicon Valley to research taking place at Purdue and cooperative opportunities with Purdue faculty. Check out the 2004 Purdue–Silicon Valley Symposia schedule and mark your calendars.

This year we’re focusing on topics in Purdue Engineering’s signature areas, multidisciplinary initiatives which cut across the established boundaries of Purdue’s engineering and related disciplines.

These signature areas address local, national, and global priorities and present exciting opportunities for field-defining research, educational innovation, and intellectual property spin-offs.

The theme for this year’s Symposia is “Investing in Infinite Possibilities”, and is symbolized by the infinity emblem. The emblem represents the infinite possibilities of a multidisciplinary approach that teams industry with Purdue researchers to solve problems from the subatomic level to the large-scale, socio-technical problems that challenge civilization at the global level.

The symposia are great opportunities to network with Purdue alumni and faculty and to hear about the infinite possibilities of investing in Purdue.
