Hunter receives NSF CAREER award

Susan Hunter, assistant professor of industrial engineering, has received a Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) grant from the National Science Foundation.


Her project, 'Multi-Objective Optimization via Simulation: Theory, Methods, and Parallel Computation,' will receive $500,000 over five years. Her research uses computer-based simulations to develop theory and optimize methods and parallel algorithms for multi-objective decision-making in complex systems, amidst uncertainty. The grant period begins July 1.
