The SURF program provides a full-time research internship for undergraduate students that will enrich your resume and provide insight into advanced education and research careers. 

STARS: Summer Training on Awareness and Readiness for Semiconductors

STARS is an 11-week semiconductor skills development internship empowering students to develop essential deep-tech skills, aiming to prepare them for early entry into semiconductor industry internships and fostering long-term careers in the field.

EURO Travel/Conference Grant for Undergraduate Students

Conference grant of up to $500 for full-time undergraduate Purdue students OR former SURF participants (presenting their SURF work) who will be the primary presenter of their research at a conference outside of Purdue's campus. Primary major OR Lab/Group in which the research took place must be within the College of Engineering.

First-Time Researcher Fellowship (FTR Fellowship)

The FTR fellowship empowers Purdue undergraduates to excel in their future research careers by kickstarting their research journey with hands-on lab experience and out-of-lab professional development. 

Computing Resources for Undergraduate Research

Students working on a research project in the College of Engineering can borrow NVIDIA Jetson Nano Development Kits. We also provide Negishi CPU Clusters to undergraduate students involved with research. Both applications are open year-round.
