I take being a Black Engineer so seriously because engineers play a big part in how the products we use in our modern world are created. I want to make sure no matter where I am working that I provide a voice for Black people, especially Black women. I want to make sure that whatever I work on to create, that the product will not be made in any fashion that excludes Black people from accessing it. This is the way that I want to give back to my community with my career.
