AY Support For Faculty With Joint Appointments

A subcommittee of the ELT consisting of Anil Bajaj, Jason Dietz, Makarand Hastak, Klod Kokini, Larry Nies and George Wodicka were charged with developing a College of Engineering policy on how AY support should be managed for faculty with joint appointments.

A summary of the recommendations of the meeting can be described as follows:

AY support on any externally funded project for faculty with joint appointments in the CoE will be distributed in proportion to their appointments to the units who hold such appointments. This distribution will be regardless of the subject of the project or policies in the units.
