Engineering Dean Linda Katehi

We are honored to introduce in these pages the Outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineers for 2004. Orison Swett Marden, the American author and journalist, reminds us, “All men who have achieved great things have been dreamers.” The individuals we recognize as Outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineers, through their vision and imagination and dreams, have contributed not only to their profession but also to the larger realm of discovery to meet the challenges of today’s rapidly changing world. Through their achievements, these exemplary alumni embody the highest standards of Purdue University.
