Bowen has been a major force in the construction industry for many years. He is considered an authority on construction leadership practices and has been instrumental in identifying, documenting, and teaching best practices to construction managers. He also has developed and implemented leadership programs not only within Bowen Engineering, but has trained other firms through the Associated General Contractors of America. Bowen has been and continues to be a leader in engineering education throughout Indiana with his support of K-12 and higher education.
