Thirteen Purdue students have been offered Fulbright grants to pursue scholarly work across 12 countries for 2024-25. The prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program supports cultural exchange and mutual understanding by sponsoring 8-12 months of research, study, or teaching abroad. Over 160 countries participate in this bilateral exchange program.
Fulbright has repeatedly recognized Purdue as a “top-producing institution” for both the Student and the Scholar programs. Most recently, in the 2024-25 academic year, the university earned the recognition after eight faculty members were named Fulbright Scholars.
Purdue’s National and International Scholarships Office works with students applying to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Students who hold U.S citizenship can apply for Fulbright grants as rising seniors, current graduate students, and alumni whose most recent degree was earned at Purdue. Those interested can learn more on NISO’s website or attend information sessions during Fulbright Week (Feb. 17-21, 2025).
