EACC Fall Callout Inspires Future Academic Leaders

The Purdue Engineering Academic Career Club (EACC) kicked off the semester with a highly successful Fall Callout, held on Wednesday, September 11th. With over 170 registered attendees, the event brought together graduate students and postdocs from across the College of Engineering, all eager to explore academic career paths.

Founded in November 2018, the EACC was created to build a community for students passionate about pursuing roles as postdocs, teaching faculty, or research faculty. The club provides members with opportunities, tools, and resources to actively shape their success in academia.

During the callout, both in person and virtual attendees learned about EACC's mission, participated in discussions on past and future events, and gained insight into the club’s summer mentoring circles. The event offered a valuable networking opportunity, allowing students to connect with peers who share a drive for academic careers.
