Semiconductor Info Session planned for Sept. 11

In partnership with SEMI, Purdue will host the 2023 Semiconductor Info Session from 3-6 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Buchanan Club at Ross-Ade Stadium.

In partnership with SEMI, Purdue will host the 2023 Semiconductor Info Session from 3-6 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Buchanan Club at Ross-Ade Stadium. 

Students will have an opportunity to learn about semiconductor jobs in government and the private sector as well as network with company representatives in the field.

Brian Dunlap, vice president of 300-mm Water Fab Manufacturing Operations at Texas Instruments, will present the keynote address. Erin Clark, senior manager of Talent Silfex, will lead a professional development seminar titled Resume Building, Social Media, and Job Search in the Era of AI.” The complete list of industry attendees is available here.

Students also will receive a summary on how they can pursue a semiconductor career path through the College of Engineering’s Semiconductor Degrees Program (SDP), a suite of innovative programming for both graduate and undergraduate students.

Organizers also will offer details about programs geared toward high school students such as STARS and READI. Interested students from all schools and majors are welcome to attend. Registration is required.
