Garcia's lithium-ion battery research featured in R&D

R&D online is currently featuring research by R. Edwin Garcia, associate professor of materials engineering, that could improve the performance and safety of lithium-ion battieries. Garcia worked with postdoctoral researcher David Ely on the research, which also appears in the February edition of the Journal of the Electrochemical Society.

iKNEER Video Uses Cyberinfrastructure to Illustrate Evolution of "Frontiers in Education"

An ENE research group's video depicting the evolution of the "Frontiers in Education" community over the past decade debuted at this year's FIE conference in Washington, DC. Led by faculty member Krishna Madhavan, researchers used the tool Interactive Knowledge Networks for Engineering Education Research to synthesize data as a network flow.
