New C-BRIC center will tackle brain-inspired computing

Purdue University will lead a new national center to develop brain-inspired computing for intelligent autonomous systems such as drones and personal robots capable of operating without human intervention.

Scott Tingle arrives at International Space Station

Scott Tingle (MSME ’88) arrived at the International Space Station, the 23rd Purdue graduate to become an astronaut. Scott will spend the next six months conducting scientific experiments as part of Expedition 54. Fellow Purdue graduate Drew Feustel will join him on the ISS in March 2018.

Argentine consul general visits ISAT lab

Dr. Juan Pablo Wachs and the ISAT Lab welcomed Mr. Atilio Berardi, Consul General of Argentina, and his team last week during a visit to Purdue University.
