Matt Folk earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1991. He is President and CEO of the Purdue for Life Foundation. Mr. Folk also serves as Vice President of University Development and Alumni Engagement, reporting directly to the Purdue president.
Previously, Mr. Folk was President and CEO of Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), a large sales and marketing firm, representing many semiconductor and electromechanical components. He held many positions in his 28-year sales and marketing career, including multiple stints as CEO.
For many years, Mr. Folk has served as President of the Boiler Business Exchange of Indianapolis, a group of more than 2,000 business owners who are all graduates or die-hard fans of Purdue. Goals of the group are to drive visibility and increase engagement in the central Indiana area and facilitate business-to-business exchange for alumni.
Mr. Folk is a longtime member of Purdue President’s Council, an active Lifetime Member of the Alumni Association, and has established multiple scholarships on campus. He is a long-term member of John Purdue Club, where he serves on the Brees National Executive Leadership Committee. In 2016, Mr. Folk named the Purdue Soccer Fields in memory of his parents, Loren and Donna.
