Dr. Leyla Ozsen
Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering
Dr. Leyla Ozsen's research interests are logistics systems, supply chain optimization, meta-heuristics and large-scale optimization. Her most recent work focuses on integrated inventory and location models. Prior to joining Purdue University, Leyla received her Ph.D. degree from the industrial engineering department at Northwestern University. Her undergraduate studies were in operations research at Cornell University and her master's degree is in management science and engineering from Stanford University. Over the years, Ozsen worked on different projects at IBM and HP, applying operations research techniques to practical problems.
