Purdue Engineering student athletes honored as Big Ten Distinguished Scholars

Thirteen Purdue Engineering students are among the 60 student athletes named Big Ten Distinguished Scholars during the 2023-2024 school year. Student athletes across the conference were recognized as Big Ten Distinguished Scholars for achieving grade point averages of 3.70 and better.

Andrew Witty (Purdue Men’s Swimming & Diving, ME ’24) was one of seven student athletes and the only engineering student to be recognized for their 4.0 GPA for the school year.
