University’s Bravo Program recognizes 72 CoE staff members with awards
“Staff in the College of Engineering, like the rest of the University, were faced with tremendous challenges in 2020. What we found all across the College was that there were numerous examples of staff going above and beyond their normal job responsibilities,” said Will Sondgerath, assistant dean for staff. “This year in particular was important to recognize those individuals who did more than what was required during the challenging circumstances of the pandemic,” he said.
Staff members are nominated by colleagues or supervisors, and criteria is based on one of the following categories: moving the university forward; operational excellence; innovation/creativity; and fiscal stewardship. Awards are made in different amounts, based upon the significance of the contribution, and range from $250 to $1,000.
