ASEE bestows highest division honor to Moser for professional development work

Julayne M. Moser, director of Academic Affairs for Purdue Online-College of Engineering, was presented the Joseph M. Biedenbach award for Distinguished Service from the Continuing Professional Development Division (CPD) of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).

The award was presented January 31, 2019, at the mid-year ASEE Conference for Industry and Education Collaboration.

Moser has held several leadership positions with the CPD division as well as ASEE as an association with her most recent term on the ASEE Board of Directors.

The Joseph M. Biedenbach award is the highest honor awarded by the ASEE-CPD Division to those who have rendered noteworthy leadership and in recognition of outstanding service to the continuing professional development of engineers. The award is named after Joseph M. Biedenbach who held the only chaired professorship in Continuing Engineering Education in the country at the University of South Carolina. He was instrumental in forming the ASEE mid-year CIEC conference in 1976.
