AAE Launchboxes available to send school experiments into space

Standing less than a foot tall and weighing a few ounces, the rectangular box doesn’t seem like much but Purdue’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics hope it will represent the first step for schools nationwide wanting to conduct zero-gravity experiments in space.

Pipes receives honorary degree from the University of Edinburgh

R. Byron Pipes, John L. Bray Distinguished Professor of Engineering at Purdue University, received the honorary degree of Doctor Honoris Causa at the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the Regis Chair that founded the School of Engineering of the University of Edinburgh.
