CoE faculty to present research findings in free webinar

Event Date: September 14, 2012
Three members of the College of Engineering faculty will make presentations at 1 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 14, in a free webinar titled, "You Can't Graduate Them if You Don't Admit Them: New Admissions Policy = Higher Percentage of Women Enrolled."

Beth Holloway, director of the Women in Engineering Program; P.K. Imbrie, director of the College's Honors Program and associate professor of engineering education; and Teri Reed-Rhoads, director of the First Year Engineering program and assistant dean of undergraduate education will discuss research findings that have led to changes in admissions practices. The changes have resulted in record-high percentages in women enrollment in the College. The webinar will also address how their research methods can be used in other institutions.
