Purdue Chemical Engineering junior Anna Wagner was selected to serve as Vice Chair of the national AIChE Executive Student Committee.
Anna Wagner, a junior in Chemical Engineering, will serve as Vice Chair of the national AIChE Executive Student Committee for 2017-2018.
Wagner previously served as an AIChE Regional Liaison. “I‘ve witnessed firsthand the positive influence AIChE has had in preparing prospective chemical engineers for their future career,” she says. “I ran for national office for the opportunity to empower all Regional Liaisons with the leadership and experience needed to better serve the hundreds of AIChE Student Chapters Worldwide.”
Wagner is the second Purdue Chemical Engineering undergraduate to hold a position on AIChE’s national executive student committee in recent years. In 2014 Austin Tackaberry (BSChE 2015) served as chair.
