Won receives inaugural fellows project
You-Yeon Won
You-Yeon Won, associate professor of chemical engineering, is one of three inaugural fellows selected by the Bindley Bioscience Center for the center's first fellows project.
His project titled, "A Photo-Degradable Gene Delivery System for Enhanced Nuclear Transport," has been selected as a Bindley Bioscience Center Fellows Project. The project will started this month (July 2012), and is scheduled to continue through June 30, 2014. The School of Chemical Engineering will receive $25,000 per year to support his work as a Bindley Fellow. In addition, Won will receive $10,000 per year in equipment and infrastructure support within the Bindley Bioscience Center.
