Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I have always been fascinated with space exploration. I want to learn more about our place in the universe and explore the unknown. The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue has prepared me and will continue to prepare me to contribute to this exciting industry.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
I have been a part of Purdue Orbital since my freshman year. As a member of Purdue Orbital, I have been able to develop my technical skills and apply my knowledge from my classes to an exciting team project.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
I have attended some Purdue Astronomy Club stargazing events. At these events, I was able to meet people from many different areas of study who were all passionate about space.

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
I want to get students excited about studying AAE here at Purdue. I hope to share my experiences and inspire the next generation of AAE students.

Favorite place on campus?
Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
Dynamics and Vibrations (AAE340). I am very interested in astrodynamics, and this is the first class in which we begin to learn about the basics of astrodynamics.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
Make sure you go to every class every day. As long as you attend your classes regularly, ask questions when you're unsure of something, and work hard, you will be able to achieve the goals you set for yourself.

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
Chris Hadfield. He is a former astronaut who, after retiring, has shared his experiences through books and videos and has dedicated his time to teaching people about the space industry.

What motivates you to succeed?
The goals I have for my future career are what motivate me to succeed. I know I won't be able to achieve the goals I have for myself without working hard during my time here at Purdue.

What is your ultimate career goal?
I want to work on spacecraft trajectory design or spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control.

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
I enjoy attending Purdue basketball and football games. I also enjoy participating in intramural sports, especially intramural soccer.
