CMSC develops a comprehensive set of simulation tools that connect composites from their birth in manufacturing to their lifetime prediction and advance the certification of composite products by analysis validated by experiments.

Consortium on Lyophilization/Freeze-Drying (LyoHUB)

LyoHUB works to develop a technology roadmap for making critical and transformative advances in key areas that will significantly increase the competitiveness of advanced manufacturers using lyophilization techniques.

FAA Consortium on Aviation Operations Research (NEXTOR II)

NEXTOR II is the eight-university FAA Consortium in Aviation Operations Research contracted by the Federal Aviation Administration to support research on a wide range of aviation topics.

Hypersonics Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center (HAMTC)

HAMTC provides co-located facilities for design of components and system integration, additive manufacturing of components and joining of sub-assemblies, and thermo-mechanical and wind tunnel testing of hypersonic sub-systems, in order to transition prototypes to the defense industrial base. HAMTC is a part of the Purdue Applied Research Institute.

IACMI, a public-private partnership, validates manufacturing technologies that respond to private industry’s need for faster and more cost, material and energy-efficient composite manufacturing, including recycling at the end of product life.

i-GSDI provides cross-cutting research capabilities to Purdue’s strength and core competences in STEM, advanced instrumentation, nanotechnology, social and behavioral sciences, big data/simulation/cyber security, entrepreneurship and complex systems.

Partnership to Enhance General Aviation Safety, Accessibility and Sustainability (PEGASAS)
