Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I have always been interested in planes and how flying works and then as I got older I found my love for fighter jets. I wanted to pursue a degree where I could work on developing fighter jets in the future and test new designs.

I have really enjoyed my time in the Purdue Space Program (PSP) over the past year. PSP connected me with so many like-minded people that have always been so supportive and helpful during my time in aero. I have

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
I am an athlete on the Purdue Women's Club Lacrosse team which has been one of my favorite things about Purdue. I love all of my teammates and lacrosse has always been a great stress reliever for me and I'm so glad I have been able to continue playing in college.

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
I wanted to be an AAE Ambassador because I remember how intimidating it was to be an incoming freshman and I want to make sure future students feel confident following their dreams in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. I also want to remind students that college isn't just school work and that there are so many amazing clubs/organizations that they can join to still have fun and make life long friends.

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
My favorite class I've taken so far is ME 200: Thermodynamics 1. I really enjoyed this class because I found the concepts really interesting and I also loved the actual problem solving. This is the class that made me want to pursue propulsion specifically.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
One piece of advice I would give to a potential AAE student would be to relax and enjoy the college experience. At times you'll be stressed but you need to make sure you're still doing things you enjoy because you're only in c

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
I look up to Helene Dutrieu because she was known as the "girl hawk" of aviation. She was one of the most daring and accomplished female pilots of her time and she constantly strived t

What motivates you to succeed?
My group of friends in aero motivate me to succeed because we all push each other to be the best we can be and they lift me up when I'm struggling and remind me why we started this journey in the first place.

What is your ultimate career goal?
My ultimate career goal is to work on fighter jets as a flight test engineer.

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
I really enjoy playing lacrosse and weight lifting when I'm not busy with school work and I also mentor honors FYE students. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my friends and talk to my family back home.
