Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I used to live in Orlando, FL and visiting the Kennedey Space Center speared my interest in aerospace engineering. Ever since then I have wanted to be an aerospace engineer. 

Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
The AAE mentorship program has been an excellent experience for me. My mentor and I developed a great relationship and I have gotten my propulsion research position and other opportunities through my mentor.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
Purdue space Day

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
Meeting with AAE Ambassadors was one of the reasons I chose to Purdue and I want to provide the same experiences to prospective students. 

Favorite place on campus?
Mackey Arena

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
ME 200 (Thermodynamics) I really enjoyed this class and the concepts. and it was one of the original reasons I wanted to pursue propulsion specialization. 

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
Be prepared to work hard, Aerospace Engineering is challenging but a rewarding degree, but you can still find time to do fun things. 

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
Elon Musk, The way SpaceX has changed the industry is amazing and Elon's vision for the future is inspiring. 

What motivates you to succeed?
I have a strong work ethic and am dedicated to my goals, and really enjoy what I do.  

What is your ultimate career goal?
Becoming a propulsion engineer

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
I enjoy weightlifting, pickup basketball, golfing, outdoors activities, traveling, Purdue basketball games, and hanging with friends and family.
