Engineering Manager, General Electric Aviation

Interdisciplinary Engineering, Concentration in Engineering Management & Leadership, Graduated 2013

Price is an integral part of GE’s Aviation Engineering Leadership team. At GE, Price manages continuous projects; balances cost, time, and quality constraints; champions improvement initiatives; and recruits top talent to the organization.

At Purdue, Price was pursuing his third master’s degree. Purdue’s program helped Price master new engineering skills, and it also showed him that he could compete with the best and brightest engineering students in the country. Price believes that achieving success in the modern job market requires continually learning new skills, and through an online Master’s degree was a big-time commitment, he appreciated the challenging and relevant curriculum and the chance to connect with some of the best professors anywhere. Purdue’s history and tradition of excellence are what drew Price to the program, but he also appreciated how Interdisciplinary Engineering prepared him for the future.
