Learning Objective:Develop methods and tools needed to analyze forming processes and material removal processes to predict forces, pressures, deformation and product properties; applications of these techniques to automotive and aerospace manufacturing processes are discussed.
Theories and applications of materials forming and removal processes in manufacturing, including product properties, process capabilities, processing equipment design, and economics. A systems approach to all aspects of manufacturing process engineering.
