Boilermaker Engineering students offered NSF Graduate Research Fellowships

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program released its 2021 Award Offers and Honorable Mentions List on March 23, which includes a number of Purdue Engineering students and alumni.

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions. The five-year fellowship includes three years of financial support including an annual stipend of $34,000 and a cost of education allowance of $12,000 to the institution. It is the country’s oldest fellowship program that directly supports graduate students in various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields.
